Supergirl

Gf told me Supergirl’s got a punchable face... Wanted to like this way more, but it ain’t right. Alcock carried this movie. Corenswet returning & every time on screen was just awesome. Sadly i didn’t get attached to the plot. The flashback placement was odd. Script was ehhh… 6/10

well well, i have so much to say but i don’t know how to form them correctly. as someone who read the comic i found myself noting the differences and similarities. don’t get me wrong the differences weren’t that bad, but the pacing of the movie did feel like you were reading it from the comics that came out every other week or so. it wasn’t so consistent but it still holds a high ranking place on my dc universe. i love kara and ruthye and the whole story with krypto and how she’s got 3 days urgh a girl and her dog.

i enjoyed hearing about the backstory of krypton as we didn’t get much of anything with superman due to him not knowing anything. but it’s such a deep and meaningful watch.

I knew I was going to love this and I’m estatic that i did.

My only main thing is I get the revenge plot thing but it hits a little less when the revenge is against a child rapist 🫠 like sorry not sorry but rapists - especially child rapists - shouldn’t be allowed to live.

It was very mediocre. The storyline was weak, they kept Supergirl out of the suit way too long, and she didn’t have her powers more than she did.

An Entertaining Watch. I loved the characters and the cast. The action was non-stop. The effects are decent, and the cinematography was amazing. My only concern is the story, though good, lacked something. Definitely Matinee.

I really don’t in why critics were so down on this movie. Milly was exceptional, and yes the plot isn’t amazing but at no points is it bad.
