How do you make a full-length feature movie about the “miracle on the Hudson”, dramatic and inspiring as it may be? Easy, you get Clint Eastwood to direct. And of course Hanks delivers a grounded performance in service of a man whose heroisms took flight at the right moment.

based on true events Tim honks portrays captain sully well in the retelling of the incidents and investigation of their fateful flight.

dumb movie, I can land a plane

The movie was just fine.
It was incredibly overdone. It was so over-dramatic when it shouldn’t have been. They made shit up too, girls didn’t kiss him on the cheek and say “I’d give you anything” BS

24 minutes, nobodies dying in 30 degree weather within 24 minutes, overdramatic

I enjoyed this! Just fine! Best scene was… oh gosh, how awful is this? It’s the only scene I remember… the best scene is when they did the plane exploding into the city hypothetically. 🙈

Amazing! Hanks was the perfect roe for this film. Such a great fit. His performance is brilliant as always. Love the retelling of this story. The whole film was really well done. Would definitely watch again.

Omg I loved this!! I thought this was just going to be a basic flight savior with Tom Hanks, but boy was I wrong!
I was super confused when they started after the incident and then showed it halfway, but I realized that that was the perfect way to do it. Keep us in suspense until it was time to see it so we could full understand the pressure Sully was under. Tom Hanks did phenomenal as always, and Aaron Eckhart was THE supporting actor. It was fantastic, and God bless the real Sully for doing what he did and saving everyone on the flight and more!

I really enjoyed Sully. Hanks is as always excellent as the heroic pilot. Aaron Eckhart is excellent too. It’s well written and well paced too. It’s a simple enough movie but done really well by Eastwood. Hanks really brings Sully to life in a human way. Well worth a watch

Holy gosh i felt the stress of all the simulations and the scenes showing the life or death situation. what a great depiction. amazingly directed and acted.

The movie is so brilliantly made
Each detail is important and the way they have shot the movie really makes u feel like ur experiencing the same adrenaline and fear and anxiety honestly
The recordings, the Simulations, the way they showed how the pilots were feeling in real life was amazing
The end line with "I would have done it in July" really gave a lighter note to the end of the movie which made sure at the end u were happy and laughing
This is one of the best real life adaption movie I've seen and I'm glad to say I loved every second of it.

Films are a really great way of telling and sharing the incredible stories of human beings. The flight 1549 Incident is one. It captures the event very well in a terrifying and heartfelt manner. Nothing needs said on Tom Hanks’ performance as usual, very good watch.
