Sudden Death Reviews

B minus

A van damme good time

Van Damme’s version of Die Hard. Pretty entertaining overall, with a blend of action thriller and sports drama. The end sequence is worth the watch alone 7.5/10

One of the best Jean Claude van DAMN movies!!

What did you expect lol but the whole during a hockey game adds a nice element. It’s one of the few van damme movie I’ve liked. Albeit a little unrealistic at the end just taking over for the goalie lol.

Van Damme is as good as it gets!

it sucks

A good one, but why does Van Damme have to do everything in every single movie.

let’s be honest this is crap but it was also my 2 favourite things combined: ice hockey and tacky 90’s action films

Good movie! The action is awesome and the story line pretty fun! Watched this as a young teen when Van Damme was at his peak!

This was filmed in my hometown at the old Pittsburgh Penguins - Civic Arena. The scene with Jean Claude fighting the Penguins mascot is probably the most hilarious action sequence put to film.

How did I let this underrated Van Damme flick slip through the cracks? It's not one of his greatest, but it's still a decent action thriller.

This is about as good as Vanne Damne has done. It’s Die Hard in a sports stadium but it’s very entertaining. Powers Bothe is a great villain and theirs plenty of action. It’s got heart and it’s fast paced. Good fun
