I think a lot of people view therapy as something it isn’t, and this movie seems helpful in changing that. The movie just felt like I was in the room with them.
I also liked how over the focus slowly became a more collaborative process between the two, rather than an interview.

Deeply personal and profound, Stutz is a wonderful documentary that isn’t only an enjoyable piece of entertainment but is an incredibly compelling and at times moving look into not only the life and psyche of Stutz but into the audience as well. 7.5/10

Grateful for a free therapy session through this film, especially when it comes to self image and how parents can project their own self image issues onto their children. Would recommend.

A beautiful tribute to Phil Stutz, who helped Jonah through some of the most difficult times in his life. A therapy session the viewer can join & learn Stutz methods in dealing with grief, anxiety, relationships and feeling lost. This film is a gem, & I couldn’t recommend it more

Stutz
I found the concepts that Mr. Stutz was trying to explain incredibly helpful and clear, but i feel this movie would have been better as a documentary that solely focused on stutz himself and jonah hill was not in it as he was a bit distracting from the main idea
6/10 good watch

Definitely not a “casual watch”. Very transparent about the client/therapist relationship but also the movie making process. Overall very thought provoking.

I thought it would be more of a doc on Jonah but instead it was on his therapist which offered some good points to take when dealing with mental health buuut clearly he not the best since Jonah is a controlling narcissist ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
