Stray Dog
A different view into the mind of Akira Kurosawa, as he dives into possibly one of his most unexpected and unexplored work which nevertheless shows the tremendous range of Kurosawa's choices and greatness of none other than Toshirô Mifune as we get to see him at such a young age!

Very good (crazy that this is barely a top 10 Kurosowa)
Not quite as engaging as High and Low, but possibly Kurosowas best climactic sequence?
Loved the noir and internal dialogue, very good watch—visually stunning as well.
Also Mifunes most transformative performance

what an amazing film with practically every part of it being absolutely impeccable. hilarious while deep and filled with lessons. the writing/script is so so so good.

Very good early movie by Kurosawa. It drags at some parts but overall it has a lot of great moments.
