10/10 honestly one of the best Tyler Perry movies I have seen! Amazing breathtaking performance so real and authentic Taraji did an amazing job I cried like a baby and could watch this movie over and over. It saddens me to think about real this movie is in so many American houses

Boring, dramatic, random, weird spent over an hour just in the bank. Dragged out for nothing such a dramatic movie esp in the beginning reminded how my dreams are, just random shit happening and nothing making logical sense

Powerful and heartfelt. A raw look at a hardworking single Black mom’s struggles. Teyana, Sherri, and Taraji deliver Oscar-worthy performances. The pacing kept me locked in, and the twist was genuinely unexpected. This one really stayed with me. 10/10

this honestly exposes reality. it shows what women of color go through every day in a world that constantly silences/erases them. it also forces you to see the system set up to break them down. its a very heavy movie but necessary

10/10 OMG TYLER PERRY DID HIS BIG ONE WITH THIS MOVIE! My partner and I watched this film after seeing a social post about it and BOY WAS IT WORTH IT! the acting, the plot, the visuals, even the plot twist no one seen coming! it will have you going through every emotion possible!

Tyler Perry desperately needs to put down the camera and pen. I hate discouraging creatives, but every movie he makes somehow ends up worse than the last. With the money and the name, I don't see why he can't produce the work of other people. Taraji P. Henson was the sole reason I even gave this a chance, and her performance was why I made it through the entire runtime. The acting/writing feels like watching two trains full of high school drama kids collide head-on…repetitively in 4K UHD slow motion. I get the message, but every other movie has done it better.

this movie is inconsistent. some scenes don’t make any sense. good messaging though. empathy is on a decrease in todays political environment. hatred and hate crimes are on the rise. in a world where it feels like so many people are genuinely evil, sometimes you can snap.

WHAT THE FUCK

The dialogue & progression didn’t ever really seem realistic at any point and that made it hard for me to get truly invested in the story, it just felt so predictably on the nose even with the twist at the end

Idk abt this movie. It was quite dramatic and the acting (esp Teyanas) was cringey and a bit too much. Idk everyone in this movie just pmo haha I just couldn’t lols.

I liked it for the most part, what I don’t like is how Tyler Perry is always portraying black women as having the worst lives imaginable 😭 and I hate how no one followed that one cop’s instructions, all acting like she was spewing bs
