Such an original and unique story. Written so well and pulls at your emotions. The emotional roller coaster is one of my favorite feelings in entertainment.
Will Ferrell, Emma Thompson, Maggie Gyllenhaal were all fantastic.

This was a delightful surprise of a film with a shockingly emotional performance from will ferrell - Emma Thompson is incredible in this role as well and the story is just so human and honest - the character of Harold crick is wonderfully constructed and I really enjoyed the unique story structure that the film chose to utilize, it was very ambitious

5.5/10 I wanted to love this but it was just too “goofy” for me and I’m not a huge fan of comedy (depending on how it’s written). I did love the concept though but I’d really like to see it taken seriously, possibly with a different cast.

I watched this movie for my literature course, to interpret the meaning of life, and I think it was deeply beautiful, showing the impacts of knowing one’s imminent death. Also, Will Ferrel and Emma Thompson perform stunningly.

I’ve never seen Will Ferrell play a character with such depth. Comedy actors do often play the best dramatic roles. I truly loved the message of this film and what it means to be alive.

An overall great movie with a star studded cast that could've handled the ending a bit better.

Cool concept of finding out about diagnosis

I really like the chemistry between Ferrell and Gyllenhaal. Other than that, it just felt too self aware and infatuated with its own high concept gimmick. In the end, the story didn’t amount to much.
