Strange Magic

this movie is so poorly paced, nonsensical, lacking in structure & filled with jukebox musical songs that pad the runtime rather than move the story along, however… the parts that DID make sense were so cute that i ended up enjoying it, boggy woggy kingy wingy & dawn my beloveds

This movie is so badly put together but I absolutely love this movie so much, and frankly, I’m not sure if it’s ironically or not. I watched it when I was younger and has morphed into very niche inside jokes with my friends, so 100/10 on the memorable scale

As a fantasy lover, I wish more movies would dive into worlds like this! But, I had really wished this movie wasn't a musical, or at least featured original songs instead of covers. The music really took my out of the movie, especially for how often they sing. Still a fun time!
