It’s been a long time since I’ve watched this but it’s one of the best movies I’ve seen about an artist/artists, made me cry and understand how times were when I was young it was the first movie to open my eyes to these issues while being such a great film at the same time

They did an amazing job casting for the group NWA…along with other cameos from Snoop, Tupac. Love the music and seeing what they went through how they rose to fame. Fuck the police!!! Def gotta watch this…

Shessshh, great movie. The story is CRAZY! Went from lotta hate to hella love! Went to an Ice Cube concert and it was WILD. He definitely got the same attitude and can still get that shit after 30 years! West Side all day everyday. They started that gangstaa shit 🔥

Such a great story and there were a lot of really great moments in the movie. It dragged at a few moments but overall I felt that this movie was extremely well paced despite how long the extended version is.

A great part of music history! Shows their struggles with racism in that era of the US. Just making me root for all of them all the way. 7.5/10

i actually really love this as a movie but as it is based on real events and people i have some grievances. let’s just say i found it interesting that the commitment to historical accuracy extends only to rampant and exploitative misogyny and the ability to use homophobic slurs but the fact that one of the main characters was abusive never even comes up. weird.
