Didn’t expect the twist at the end.. good movie really enjoyed it

If you enjoy period pieces, strong performances, & atmospheric storytelling, this delivers. The narrative blends mystery & gothic thriller elements, focusing on shifting power dynamics within the asylum. It’s clever & engaging, though not as dark or layered as it could have been.

I would have so much to write about this movie but unfortunately I don't have enough space 😆
I'll just say that the only reason I'm not giving it a 10 (aka a heart) is because the final plot twist was a disappointment. At least for my personal tastes. But it really struck me.

Very beautiful movie in style of gothic castles in the mountains with stunning shots, I like it, the plot is also very similar to shutter island which i like, i like mysterious ill patients and secrets hidden in walls of this castle and hospital

Great movie!
It really mixes reality and filmography in a great way, showing how hysteria for example could’ve been PTSD and how the old treatments actually lead the patients to worse outcomes rather than help them. It mixes romance and thrill with an unexpected twist at the end🤭
