An off-kilter, fast-paced (90 minutes!!!) character study into the titular phenomenon; Hawke is perfect as always, getting to be unrestrained but also grounded, as his erratic and very funny character calls for. Script doesn’t go too deep in the psychology but is a lot of fun.

It seems odd, but I liked it. It's about the origin of the same Syndrome, but completely different than what I expected

Really good movie!

Overall a good movie. It was a slow burner for certain.

This is totally off beat and won’t be for everyone but I enjoyed it. Ethan Hawke is terrific as well as Naomi Rapace and Mark Strong. Incredibly this is a true life story and it’s well written and really funny in parts
