still enjoyable and creative to this day, with super impressive animation and sound design for its time. kind of shocking what he did to those animals

I get that it’s iconic, but it just didn’t hold my attention. I was kind of checked out watching it.

I watched this as a part of my mission to watch every Disney movie and I can appreciate how revolutionary this was for its time. Mickey was a menace to all the animals though.

You can tell that Disney was at the forefront of revolutionising cinema with combining sound and cartoon, especially through the amount of music used.

The image of todays Disney will always shadow what was before, interesting to see from where it all began.
