Unpopular Opinion: I love this movie. Yes, Jar-Jar and all. unashamed to admit it. I was born in the late 90s, and this movie is truly one for my generation. PLUS Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan are the best jedi team to exist (and the battle with Darth Maul? 10/10) 🔥🔥 Haters will hate but 🤷🏻‍♂️

The movie is fun, for the most part, and several scenes are as good or better than anything Lucas created in the original films. The human characters, however, are not nearly as interesting as those in the earlier episodes.

Watched this in theaters with @dante. There’s some late 90s cheesiness but this was still awesome 25 years later. Pod racing scene kinda steals the show. Gotta watch ep 2 again asap!

This movie was somewhat confusing for me in the beginning, but its also my first time watching anything star wars so I will probably understand it more as I watch the other movies and series. The last 30ish minutes really got me hooked to watch more.

Kinda reminded me of cod champs

First time I watched Star Wars was in release order. This time in timeline order, and I'd probably stick with release if you're new. Don't get me wrong, it's a fine start. I mean, if it wasn't for the poor writing, I would have easily rated higher. The updated remastered version looks beautiful, and seeing the pod race for the first time was insane. Controversial or not, the casting and dialogue are both overhated. It's not the best, but I feel like that's what makes the original trilogy what it is. Not childish but cheesy. It's funny when you least expect it and ends up feeling nostalgic.

hated how lost i was the entire time with the main storyline, the cgi was terrible and the acting barely got better, but they did get better with evoking emotion in me and it did feel really cool to compare with the first trilogy
