FOR ME, this was the exact opposite of "a banger to close out the series," the originals at least did that, but here it was just...meh
I didn't mind the plot, and OH MY GOD, visually, for 2002, it looked stunning, but it was just okay at best, nothing special happened

One of my favourite Trek movies and stories. Hates the fact that this was the end of TBG at the time. Devastating end, but I’m so pleased this was picked back up during the events of the Picard series.

Out of the 10 Star Trek movies (I won’t watched altered 3other movies) this and Insurrection were the best.

Didn't buy it on a plot/character level and left a bad taste in my mouth. Way more interesting plots they could've done with the Romulans instead. Shinzon was oddly acted and I didn't buy him as a Picard clone. I cannot accept Data's death happening in such a mediocre movie and it didn't feel earned. If they wanted to explore the theme of the 2 "clones" not striving above themselves, B4 should've been the one to sacrifice himself. Also, Picard in an ATV was too much.
On the positive side, there's some decent action, visuals, and foreshadowing work here. But I despise it overall.

Surprised that I hadn’t watched this before now. I’m quite disappointed with the lack of depth in the protagonist’s characters development, I feel like there was a lot more detail that they could have added.
