I really wanted to give this a "like," simply because except for nostalgia, the story didn't interest me all that much, I'm sure it'll get better from here, because again, cinematography and VFX was miles better, but in comparison the old crew and chemistry was just beautiful

As a movie, it’s fine, but had it been produced today, this would have made a great series finale. 2.75 / 5 ⭐️

Not a bad film, per se, but a disappointing one. Especially as a first outing for the TNG crew. Some cool bits and fun action, but definitely the weakest of the TNG films.

Personally, I feel it is severely underrated. It is by far my most favorite of the Star Trek movies.

Great combination of characters from two different generations in the Star Trek universe. Overall great film, great storyline and good script writing throughout.

Lower end of “like” spectrum. Villain, plot, characters good. Some things didn’t make sense or just in there to reminisce, but nothing here was atrocious

They did a good job of bringing Kirk and Picard together.

The Next Generation crew gets their debut film, alongside some of the Original Series members. The movie suffers from a lack of action sequences, and some slow-downs in plot. But it was nice to see the old crew exit by welcoming the new.
