One of the worst and most stigmatized movies I’ve ever seen. Do not watch.

Good movie just bad presentation of the DID community

Holy moly man goodness gracious this was quite the film

This movie did a speed run to see how many types of mental illnesses that they could demonize and it’s bad

as someone with OSDD (similar to DID, but different symptoms), this movie was tragic to watch. DID is horribly misrepresented and they somehow glorified it yet demonized it at the same time. the acting was great, but the topic itself was bad.

I came into this movie knowing it wouldn't have a good representation of DID, but it managed to be worse then expected. It also portrayed OCD badly too somehow. It sensationalizes DID by making the illness seem like a superpower while also portraying it as evil?

Forgive me but I need him (the beast) 🫢 bros mental illness basically made him a mutant. Magneto would’ve loved him

I love the movie and the plot. However, I hate how the disorder itself is presented. Most people with this disorder aren’t dangerous and are struggling a lot. However, James McAvoy did a great job switching personalities and deserves applause! 🫶🏻

bad representation of DID

I kinda want the beast ngl😭💅🏻

McAvoy was perhaps the only thing saving this movie. I had no idea about the comic origins and was not expecting the ending. I think it played a major part in my opinion, I didn’t enjoy the Beast storyline, sadly I was hoping for a dive in the multiple personalities disorder.

i suffer from DID myself and this movie is very stigmatizing and does not represent the disorder it's based on well at all. the plot is meh but props to james mcavoy for having a very good acting range.

this was a decent movie, i liked it mainly for the actors’ performances — it was suspenseful and mysterious at times

i do have an issue tho w/ portrayal of ppl with DID… this movie plays into stereotypes HARD, like most horror movies do

this is one of my favorite movies. the acting is phenomenal!

I always wished we got to see more of the personalities but enjoyed the ones we saw. The climax with the big "you're pure" monolog was unsettling af. Awesome movie 🙌

Got a little lost at the begging but go pulled back in as the movie went on. It’s honestly not that bad if you’re into the thriller side of things.
Probably won’t watch again tho 😭
