Weird ass story for a kids movie.

I cried, I laughed, I smiled, I screamed, I felt fear. I LOVE THIS MOVIE IT GAVE EVERYTHING IT NEEDED TO ITS THE BEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME

Great adventure story. Loved no face. He was a reflection of those around him and those around him were greedy and selfish. Awesome movie.

If it wasn't for the ending, I wouldn't have liked it, not bad.

All the different characters were awesome! Really cute movie.

After I watched the whole thing and towards the end when haku and sen (shortened their names since I dunno how to spell their full names properly) departed I kinda felt empty after that I just wondered if they would ever see each other again ..

But it was incredibly entertaining and fun. Terrible movie but enjoyable, wouldn’t have liked it as a kid.

Eighth film for my Studio Ghibli class.

I don’t even have words to describe my disappointment. How this film is regarded by most as the best Studio Ghibli movie is beyond my comprehension. “Castle in the Sky”, “Princess Mononoke”, literally any other Ghibli film is better than this one (besides “Pom Poko”). It just doesn’t get worse than that.

This story was non-existent. I’ve never waited so long for a movie to be finished.

Although the animation was great because it is Studio Ghibli, the character designs were some of the worst i have ever seen. None of the characters were lovable.

Speaking of the characters, i didn’t connect to a single one. They were all so bland from the very beginning.

The only thing this film has going for it is the animation and the score. Take the score by itself, it’s great. However, the score never made me feel any emotion because i couldn’t connect to any of the characters or the story for the life of me.

To describe this film shortly i would say it was boring, annoying, crowded, and not “rewatchable”

There is absolutely no way i will ever watch this again.
