This was probably the 2nd worst Daniel Craig James bond film. I thought there was not much of a threat and this had the weakest villain. It was the most eerie and mysterious one though and I think this could have been alot better. 67/100

Not the best but definitely not the worst one I really loved this one because the story was well written, the action was fantastic, and Waltz as a villain was the best choice possible. But it was a bit rushed towards the end. 81/100

Saw it in French at my hotel, so idrk what to think abt it. It was alright, typical evil guy being beaten by good guys type shi. Don’t know why he was so se*ually active with different women tho… Weirdly turned me off. I’ll give it like a 3/10 I guess

Not as good as its predecessor, but still a great film nonetheless.
This film has mostly everything you could want in a Bond film. Terrific action, a good story, and great characters. The title song “Writing’s On The Wall” by Sam Smith is just incredible as well. Fire intro.

a soulless complete departure from everything that made the daniel craig movies good/great. waltz is introduced as a somehow super villain that has been responsible for everything in every prior movie with no foundation for it. instead of coming up with something actually compelling they lazily decid to try and force us to care about this villain by claiming he was actually every other villain put together. swann is similarly the archetype for a terrible bond love interest. she suddenly flips a switch to fall in love with him seemingly out of nowhere just to serve the plot, and then does the same flip to not wanting to be with him for the same purpose. there was not one villain that felt persuading and not one moment i felt convinced to care about what was going on. they also gave bond no character depth or story arc and instead just turned him back into a plot device for action sequences, a disappointing dumbing down for the foundation that the earlier movies were trying to lay
