Listen folks, this is why you cannot become people pleaser. This slowburn was unnerving, unsettling and disturbing. I knew where the direction of story was heading and I still can enjoy my popcorn.

so fucking insane and funny. more of a comedy than a good thriller/horror ok layed out messages and characters. but the parts that are supposed to be scary/disturbing end up being so funny.

twas intense! the little girl & the dad annoyed the shit out of me for their lack of brain cells idk if that was intentional or not 😭

I really liked this movie, it took a while to get to the climax but not only were the adult actors great but the child actors did amazing, especially the kid playing ant

It was good, but did not blow me away. A bit slow, some fun and intense moments. I did not see the original version yet, gotta check it out. So yeah, I liked it, watched it once but that’s it. Do I have the 280 characters for my badge now? No, not yet. Just one more sentence huh?

A bit slow, but it builds the tension and unease well. James McAvoy was especially good, uncanny and creepy throughout the film.

Edit: I have now seen the original Danish version, still not sure why they remade it. Endings are completely different—the 2022 film is visceral

Very well done, but is not nearly as unsettling as the original. If you haven’t seen the original you’ll probably like this one more than I did.

Overall pretty good I would say. It was decently intense at some moments. I definitely liked it. But what the actual fuck is dad doing. Bro is such an imbecile. Dad is doing everything that’s stupid to do

I was stressed out, the tension was peak, this film doesn’t let you get a chance to breathe, also, the dad didn’t do shit lmao and the family were too naive and were okay with things a normal person wouldn't allow right from the jump but I get it, had to make it work for the plot
