Spawn
Great ideas executed worse than The Rob Zombie Halloween Movies as the cgi is and I mean this is the most raw and real way possible Horrendous in every aspect I’ve seen more realism in Microsoft Paint. Overall -35/10 I’ve seen better editing from Collage kids CamCorders.

It’s quite a 90s coded comic book movie but with cool horror elements, fun designs, and a killer ensemble. Yes it’s silly, but it also rocks.

Spawn
Despite the questionable CGI (which is to be expected from a 90’s movie) this movie is pretty awesome. A high stakes revenge/love story that has great performances and captivating action. 6.5/10

Spawn
Once you get past the eye rapingly bad cgi there’s a good story The writers were passionate about the character and movie but they bit off more than the budget could handle Spawn’s suit has some beautiful moments even w the low budget In modern day it be a lot better movie 6.5/10

Spawn
- His suit was so goated
- The aura farming scenes were well deserved because he always looks badass whenever he does it
- Everything else about this movie is straight garbage tho

Literally every penny of the budget went into the fucking masterful costume design & make-up, the rest was built on hopes & dreams
A special kind of hellspawn, but I fucking adore it

Spawn
I tried to give this one the benefit of the doubt. It’s from an era of not so great comic book movies and this is one of them. The acting is stiff. The jokes are terrible. I know it’s from the 90’s but so many other movies had better CGI than this. The story feels really generic. I struggled to make it thru. It’s a no from me.

The gothic style is very appealing, but it never fully embraces its potential. Leguizamo’s Violator is brilliantly creepy. The story’s edges are dulled, losing some grit from the source. It’s passable for its time, but a better, grimmer version would be welcomed today.

I mean, it wasn’t incredibly bad, but it wasn’t that great either. I knew about Spawn from the comic books so I figured I would try it out but once those credits started rolling, I sat there wondering what I had watched. In my honest opinion I give it a 6.2/10
