I enjoyed the movie when my frontal cortex wasn’t fully developed but now that I am no longer a milk drinking diaper shitter I only laughed at a few parts during the movie. Still has a special place in my heart.

I lost 4 fingers on my right hand when I was younger and I can count how many times I laughed during this movie, on that hand. The writers thought that funny costumes and “knee slapper” comedy would be enough for this movie but it wasn’t. Fans of this movie are delusional. 1.5/10

Overrated

If you're a sci-fi nerd or a fan of cinema as a whole, this is a must-watch. I can't guarantee you'll enjoy it though. The Easter eggs and references are crazy, yet there was still potential. As for the humour, it's a completely different era altogether, although a lot tamer compared to past Mel Brooks projects. Certain jokes are ahead of their time, and others are just... Spaceballs. Great casting and surprisingly good production quality. Overall, I'm glad I watched it, but I mostly did to prepare for the upcoming sequel, which I'm so ready for. Bring back parody films.

One of my favorite Mel Brooks movies. The writers truly understood Star Wars and Sci-Fi movies.

god this movie is a trip. i swear at the ripe age of seven i thought this was the greatest movie to ever grace planet earth. as an adult, not that amazing but still funny and i highly recommend watching with ur star wars friend, it really gets them heated lol ✨6/10✨

So funny

I love Mel brooks but this film was so boring. The jokes weren’t that funny and it just wasn’t that interesting. 5/10

Finally I have seen a really funny mockery of Star Wars. The movie itself isn’t amazing or anything but as someone who was mostly bored by the Star Wars franchise, this was really funny to see as it points out a lot of the flaws of the franchise whilst also praising it.

pretty love it or hate it, depending on how you feel about star wars. i enjoyed it, i like parodies that are funny and not entirely stupid. campy and meta enough with some good effects. don’t you love product placement
