I thought I wasn't gonna like this movie but let me tell you i cried 3 times!!
Jake Gyllenhaal is the most TALENTED person in the world! ANYWAY, he can punch me in the face and i'd thank him. :)

Boxing movie? Well yes… but it is so much more than that.

For a sports film, this movie blew it out the water. Although it was very obvious how the movie would go, the way it was executed was phenomenal. Great acting and would highly recommend. 9.2/10

JAKE FREAKING GYLLENHAAL. THE MAN, THE MYTH, THE LEGEND. i absolutely love the creed franchise but this movie personally surpasses all of them. the acting in the movie is beautiful as it shows the downfall of jake’s character. the highs and the lows are displayed perfectly. 10/10

It’s like rocky but they don’t do one fight after training the whole movie it’s a little bit more action and it’s much more violent and just in general more realistic/adult, rocky stays a classic story but this is in its own league 10/10

This is a waste in every way. The cast here has nothing to do and the films plot is insultingly bad. The script is the same. It’s a charmless movie that takes itself way too seriously. Pretty much gabage

The emotions alone from this movie makes it amazing. The story and fights to go along with that is what makes it one of the best movies I’ve watch in awhile. Jake Gyllenhaal only makes bangers.

NOT A BOXING MOVIE. I was expecting Creed or Rocky but no, we get heartbreaking family events and a deep dive into the mind of a broken boxer who just wants to be with his family. Jake Gyllenhaal is something special when it comes to raw emotion in his acting.

This movie really defines “a roller coaster of emotions” . Very well written story with an amazing level of cinematography of the art of boxing. Must see boxing movie 🎥 Wasn’t a lot of fights but it was pure quality 🤌🏽
