Musically & culturally rich doc like one I’ve never seen before. Shows that Africa is where the wealthiest countries reside, and how the west takes brutal advantage of it. All well paced over jazz music pushed by the US as a distraction to the atrocities. Long but worth it.

The unique way this documentary is formatted engrosses you in the 1960’s Cold War era of Congolese fight for independence, producing both marvels and horrors on a grand scale. A truly singular film, this documentary sets the new standard!
