sorry but i would walk around with one arm in my shirt for months after this movie

I have always loved the idea of surfing and Bethany Hamilton is just an inspiration and such an icon for surfing in general

Sure, the film has a lot of mawkish moments, but it's a remarkable, well-intentioned tale that deserves to ride its wave rather than to wipe out on it.

A “based on a true story” film chock-full of Christian propaganda but still subtle enough to look past it. Overall, a pleasantly hopeful movie that most should be able to enjoy.

not trying me that person, but the shark was so unrealistic. didn’t like the cheesy religious aspect of it. plus how tf did she get back to surfing so soon? likeee.

This is an iconic movie for anyone who grew up in a Christian household in the 2010s. Can’t count how many times I watched this movie as a kid.

Even now it holds up pretty well. The acting is good, I cry when Annasophia breaks down. I cry when she starts surfing again. And so on

7/10. Great movie!! Very inspiring true story.

i remember being freaked out as a kid after watching this 😅

This was a good movie my first time watching, but I know about Bethany Hamilton and have read about her before, and she has a inspirational story to people who have lost something even though something changes don’t give up on what you love. the 100th movie I watched this year

The story is so inspiring
