Sonic the Hedgehog 2

Sequels are hard to pull off but this film was bigger, better and even funnier than the first. Praying for a third.

loved how funny and entertaining this movie was, especially seeing how goofy Jim Carey was, he truly is an amazing fit for the character hope he comes back for more.

6.3 - a hair (quill?) better than the first, mostly because my kiddos said it was better. It’s WAY too long and there’s a few too many subplots, but I appreciate the referential humor (esp to other Jim Carrey and Ben Schwartz roles) and Carrey crushes his ridiculous role.

This movie is peak. Idris Elba is absolutely amazing in this movie and I really like knuckles. I still hate the dated and cringy jokes Sonic makes, for example “they called us freaks? So let’s get freaky.” I hated how they kept trying to force feed me the human people subplot. I dont care about the donut lord just show me the funny hedgehog.
