Something in the Dirt Reviews

8.4 - almost love. If you like M&B’s style (big sci-fi x small relationships) you’ll like this. If not, you won’t. It’s the first time I felt pacing issues, & the idea is their most complex & ambiguous yet but I was still hooked. Not my fave but I’m excited for what’s next.

Confusing asf

Interesting, if a bit dry.

I went in expecting cool cosmic type horror but it was kind of slow and more of a drama. I think this one was too artsy for me to appreciate but I still loved resolution

so interesting but I wanted more at the end but still gr8

Didn’t finish, after an hour in the movie was not very interesting, characters were awful, plot was weird and stupid, and they just did not make it interesting at all. Maybe there’s a huge plot twist at the end that makes it worth it, idk, couldn’t sit through anymore

Fits right into their repertoire, gonna need to chew on this one to really “get it” but look forward to doing so.

Was not funny, but was a great heartfelt movie!

different, not bad. Slow burn

6/10

52/100 didnt like the characters made it a difficult watch

Benson and Moorhead do it again. Treading that line between horror and sci-fi. Putting the story above everything. Working on a low budget but creating a gem.

I don’t even truly know what the point of this was I’m disappointed bc usually their stuff is pretty good

I love Benson and Moorhead. Their movies just speak to me
