Some Kind of Wonderful Reviews

Another one of those films that I’ve waited way too long to watch! At its core, it’s nothing you haven’t seen before the main character loves someone and the best friend loves the main character. It’s essentially Pretty in Pink with the genders reversed.

It definitely has a good lesson, & it’s definitely not one you can find in other movies. It goes to show that it’s better to be alone for the right reasons than with someone for the wrong ones. I know it sounds very strange but you’ll understand it better when you see the movie.

It’s a solid coming-of-age romance film. The film focuses less on popularity and more on connection, insecurity, and realizing who truly understands you. In the end it’s about recognizing the value of someone who’s already emotionally present in your life.

Probably my favorite of John Hugh’s movies. Mary Stuart Masterson is an incredible actress.

Little shallow. But as usual, Hughes has a way about him. Not sure about Stoltz. Masterson, Thompson and supporting were good.

I’m so in love with Keith it’s not even funny. He’s a nerdy, artist, shy, soft boy. That’s literally all I want. He’s so pretty. I’m in love. Also the end was so cute I’m gonna die alone in a box of something stupid.
