this is one of my favorite movies which is surprising cause i hate anything military centered when it comes to movies. but this is so good and means soooo much like dead tf ass.

fisher instigating throughout the whole fucking movie was actually freaking me out cause he was dead ass rage bating the entire time. these are real ppl so that’s all i’ll say on that evil conniving boy.

lee pace is so bad omg he’s actually gorggggg as calpurnia in the behind the scenes you can see how uncomfortable and comfortable he is in the role and it’s soooooo cute to see

might i say THE BEST KISSES IVE SEEN ON SCREEN IN A WHILE OMG. THEIR KISSING WERE SO FUCKING GOOD. one thing abt me is that if you kiss in a movie im literally analyzing it and ik a good kiss from a bad one and i loveee seeing a good one it warms the soul. but this is also coming from someone who’s literally never been kissed.

this is the first time i rewatched since the first time i watched this. the first time i watched it i literally was gasping for air but seeing everything coming made it easier to watch for sure

i loved this movie so much. calpernia & winchell's romance and scenes together were so deeply sensual and intimate. this story is equally as heartbreaking as it is heart warming. i truly wanted a happy ending for the both of them even though i knew it wouldn't happen.
