It was just a bit too slow paced for me.

I rewatched this movie and just as I remember… it’s far more disturbing than most and gets 7.7 🍿! Now the level of disturbing is because this movie is based off the real-life crimes of Austrian serial killers, John Bunting and Robert Wagner. This movie shows just how dark reality can get when an evil-minded psychopath goes down a dark path. The way this movie is filmed really does a good job on making the audience feel the fear this boy goes through. You are left with the dreadful sense of emptiness as the story progresses deeper down it’s evil path. This story tells us just how demented and dark these crimes were and the mental hurdle one must pass to physically conduct a crime of this level. So, if you are into dark and disturbing stories or true crime, give this one a watch for sure!

The LPOTL stories were way better than this movie

It’s slow but well made. Only a couple minor graphic things. Don’t know why it’s considered that disturbing. But I’ve seen a lot. Maybe bad for some of you. I did have to google the real case after and that filled in some gaps. I knew nothing about the case going into it. good acting

it’s odd you watch a movie and afterwards feel empty inside, or like the world you knew before watching this movie doesn’t exist anymore, this movie invokes those feelings

not overly gory but a general sense of dread and hopelessness throughout

Gritty and graphic, maybe too much so. The fact that it is a true story does not help. Tough watch

Never need to watch again

This movie is really really good, I’m just rating it meh because I’m not sure personally I’d ever watch it again. It’s not something you really enjoy watching, also really graphic animal violence.

You know about Jeffrey Dahmer and Ted Bundy, but do you know about the Snowtown murders. This is how a true crime film should be: grim, depressing, unfun and leaving you feeling pessimistic about the world
