Such a fun movie. All over the place in the best way. A feel good movie. Funny and exciting.

Very violent without much resolution. If it was going to be about hockey I wish they’d have focused more on the gameplay.

A bit too outdated to enjoy today, but fun outside of the misogyny

Watched on Blu-ray. Heard it was amazing. It is a snapshot of history. Steel mill supporting a city closes. The amateur hockey team no longer can be sustained. It felt like watching the end of an era. Of this way of life. And of Paul Newman’s character. Some jokes didn’t age.

I actually didn’t enjoy this hockey movie. “Goon” is a dumb movie but I enjoyed it. There other hockey movies I would rather watch. Mystery, Alaska is hidden one.
