Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow Reviews

I saw this once when it came out for rent and I never saw it again. The idea was good, I love the “diselpunk” style that blends retro machinery with high-tech gadgets. The CGI does show its age a bit after 20+ . If the story was a little better, it would have been a better film.

This movie is almost exactly like a series of plays the kids pastor wrote at our church. The fantastical noir setting makes for an interesting film.

Diesel punk meets the big screen! This one kinda falls thru the cracks and it’s a shame because it’s an excellent movie. A lister cast. The story is engaging and paced exceptionally well. The cinematography is well done too. It’s easily rewatchable too!
