insanely underrated i can’t believe ive never heard anyone talk about this movie. absolutely amazing, so deep, dark but also so wholesome at times, SO powerful, such a great story.

I mean damn. Just damn.
This movie was just so well made to bring out some very serious topics but it also portrays hope that people can truly change if they really want to.
I forgot that this was based on a true story and when the end credits rolled I was just like oh shit. Some people really do live this kind of life and it’s sad to see that.
But I’m glad that in this movie everything worked out in the end Byron got the ending he deserved.

Very surprised by this A24 outing. Sneaky ensemble cast with good tension and pulsing drama. They needed to explore the relationship with Mike Colter’s character much more - the real life story this is based on revolves around that man, his organization, and his helping of Bryon.

good movie. well written. great visuals. loved the younger character slowly turning into bryon even though we didn’t want him to. loved seeing bryon seein him.
best that it’s based on a true story.

Kinda weird and ridiculous. I’m not against killing racists at all but this movie’s narrative was flat
