It didn’t feel as great as the first. This one was very Stand by me and was about saving youth.

Wake up and pay attention!

This was an AMAZING sequel! Loved this. I loved that she straightened all of them up but not that much that they lost their energy or creativity.

i truthfully enjoyed this one much more than the first! i felt like the plot was more emotional and i connected more with it.

and i will admit i cried a little…

apparently there’s a third one in production, curious to see what the plot will be

A rare sequel that holds its own with pure heart and even better music. Whoopi is back in top form, but the real magic is watching a young Lauryn Hill find her voice. It's an uplifting, soulful celebration of potential that makes you want to get up and sing

Drags by minute by painful minute as Whoopi Goldberg and a strong supporting cast strive in vain to recapture the breezy energy of the original.

Another hit, I totally see why this one is even more beloved than the 1st. It's so feel good with heart. Such funny one liners that sometimes you don't even catch.
