Singham Returns

I expected a gritty cop drama, but got an over-the-top, physics-defying spectacle instead.

The Director’s Eye:
Shetty's explosive camera work in the chaotic Mumbai streets gave me kinetic visual inspiration. As a conservative, I loved Singham exposing a fraudulent guru exploiting religion for power. Seeing a hyper-masculine hero fiercely protect his country hits home. Devgn's stoic presence and the roaring score perfectly match the action.

The Cuts:
The jarring slapstick comedy derails the serious political tone, so the middle part really dragged for me. Cars flipping from a single slap totally broke the illusion. Also, the goofy vigilante justice in the final act felt like a weird cop-out that undermined the “respect the uniform” message.

Verdict:
A loud, cartoonish Bollywood flick that champions law and order but gets bogged down by goofy comedy and bad stunts. I'd skip it.

Favorite Line: “Aata majhi satakli!” (Now I have lost my mind!)

Again a disappointment, except the parts where one can watch Kareena Kapoor.

It was very funny mostly all four of the boys parts they were gold 😂
