Only good scene is the one with the monkeys in jail and his son is on the tv the rest is just cringe and hard to watch

cinematic masterpiece. deals with the complex issues of poverty leading to a cycle of gang violence and restorative justice vs the industrial prison system.

4.1 - Yikes. This was the most thin, surface-level, shallow, nothing burger of a plot, even for a kids movie. Honestly, what was the goal here? And which character is fully developed and likable?

The full cast really had me fooled into sort of high expectations.

It does get credit for a couple well done musical numbers (I mean it is called Sing…) & for keeping my visiting 3 year old’s attention start to finish. I guess empty is better than bad, but how did they get two more of these greenlit?
