In a wild twist of fate, this actually easily ended up being my favorite in the franchise up to this point. Like 4 it has almost no connection to the original, but functions as a really fun, standalone B-movie that stays entertaining throughout

With time I think I could love this movie. It’s wild, wacky, and is easily the strongest in almost every aspect when compared to the previous 4 films. I think the tie-ins are so weird and make no sense but I love them. This is the kind of slasher I live for.
