i couldn’t finish it, it was just so boring, i mainly wanted to watch the silent hill movies for Pyramid head bc hes so sexy but i ended up just falling asleep at the movie.

The film feels cheap. The story isn't gripping either. The first film was much better.

Seen the movie nuremous times. Great sequel and storyline.

Includes some visually faithful creature designs and atmosphere straight from the video game, though the script, acting, and 3D gimmicks were widely panned compared to the original movie.

The pacing somehow felt slow and rushed at the same time, and some of the narrative decisions they made were... questionable.

They get bonus points though, because the atmosphere was on point. Just give me more pyramid head.

Still creepy, but I liked the first one more. The pacing felt too fast, and it just didn't leave the same impact. Still entertaining enough to finish.

Love the games; wanted to see the Silent Hill 3 adaptation. Expected a creepy continuation, but the messy plot honestly let me down.

What Worked:
• Clemens looks exactly like Heather, bringing visual comfort for me.
• Yamaoka’s score totally pops and saves the eerie atmosphere.
• The mannequin monster part has that twisted survival horror vibe I love.

The Friction:
• The asylum section with Leonard Wolf really dragged for me.
• The forced romance subplot felt totally unnatural and pulled me out of the vibe.
• Cramming too much cult lore made the final act feel too chaotic.

Verdict:
Watch for a goofy game binge. Skip if lore retcons annoy you.

It wasn’t horrible but honestly I was drawing while on the phone so I wasn’t fully paying attention , the monsters were really cool from what I took in

I have watched this movie a lot in my early childhood. I wouldn't describe this feeling as nostalgia per se. Back then I didn't know about the prequal movie to this one nor the games about it. Gotta say it makes a lot more sense now. I was greatly fascinated and disturbed

While not perfect, I do like the first 2 silent hill movies. Had some cool ideas and the silent hill feel in a lot of the monster design and grime.
