This was a beautiful film about the inner world of a narcissist and how the pathological need for validation can lead to terrible things.
There were so many subtle signs in the movie and i also loved how she never received the attention she craved.

Imagine being so desperate for attention that you willingly give yourself a potentially deadly, skin disease

very unlikable main character that does increasingly 😵‍💫 things and that’s hard to root for. i get its somewhat the point of the movie but they could’ve gone deeper into why she’s like that. it made for a pretty annoying movie watching experience. also some graphic bloody scenes

❌ Not too fond of art, weird and attention-seeking/not at all healthy (lasted ~20 min)

The life of a narcissist: always chasing attention, exaggerating tragedy, desperate to be noticed even in a hospital bed. Two narcissists together, ugly inside and out, feeding delusions. Disturbing yet interesting to watch. Definitely had to drag myself through it though 6/10.

when i thought it can’t be worse and boom she is vomiting blood and she doesn’t stop to take it
so interesting to observe how differently people react to divorce, parents lack of emotions and attention
just crazy
