You gotta watch them all for Shrek Day! I hoped for the magic of the first two, but it honestly felt like a step backwards to me.

What Worked:
• The Donkey and Puss body swap got some solid laughs from me.
• The princesses weaponizing their fairytale tropes for a jailbreak was super clever.
• The core cast’s chemistry still totally anchors the movie for me.

The Friction:
• The high school Artie storyline really dragged for me. The teen-angst vibe felt super out of place.
• Prince Charming is just too whiny to be a main villain. It lacked real stakes.
• The pacing felt off; juggling way too many side characters made the plot feel bloated to me.

Verdict:
Watch if you want to hang out with the swamp crew. Skip if you want sharp satire.
