Shrek the Musical Reviews

I will get sm hate for saying this but I LOVE this musical. First half was great, second half- eh. Fart jokes were too much and was trying to force a laugh out of the audience. I grew up with this musical, re-watched it tons of times. (More in replies) 9/10

one of the best musicals of all time

This musical is actually disrespectful towards the original movie. It takes away from the uniqueness that the original movie had and replaces it with the very thing the original made fun of. Add a terrible sense of comedic timing and bad songs, and you get this miserable show.

Is it the best Shrek out there? No. Is it the best musical out there? No. Is it still a fun time? Yes. I've watched it too many times, surely there will be more, because you get what you expect: a fun musical.

i used to watch this repeatedly like 5 times a day because i was a shrek addict.

I have seen this 12 times it never gets old

set design is insane tho

it’s weird I like the musical, but I don’t like the movie. Honestly , I will say the soundtrack is better than the musical. I listen to the soundtrack while I’m showering or working, will say that I do think it’s underrated I watched a bunch of musical and this is my favorite one

Obsessed…enough said

i rlly liked it, i thought it was entertaining, funny and had good characters and acting but the songs were not that great, they lowkey sucked and were so boring but the play itself was good.

i watched this when it first came out but that was when i was really young. i watched it recently again and it was phenomenal! a great cast and a laughable watch! a great ease into musicals!
