The second was a lot more dramatic for a comedy…

Shrek 2 is a comedy masterpiece, to the development within its exceptionally well done references, along with its comedic and extremely memorable and entertaining jokes.

1st Act 8.6/10 (Starts off alright, but the second we meet the king it really gets funny.)

2nd Act 8.8/10 (Jokes are on point, just a meddling plot lets it down.)

3rd Act 9.3/10 (Plot is very well done and the jokes are at their very best throughout the whole act.)

Plot 8.9/10 (It’s a Shrek movie.)

Soundtrack/Score 9.4/10 (Peak 2004 music.)

Acting 9.2/10 (God I love Eddie Murphy.)

Pacing 9/10 (Perfect for an animated DreamWorks flick.)

Cinematography 8.7/10 (Some decent shots but falls only decent.)

Character Development 9.3/10 (RICHARD IS MY KING, LITERALLY.)

Writing 9.6/10 (The memes, the jokes just everything is so fucking amazing.)

Ending 8.9/10 (Nice and sweet, wouldn’t wrap it up any other way.)

Direction 8.8/10 (Just standard really, but atleast it’s not bad.)

I Need a Hero tops the majority of entire movies Marvel has put out lately

Shrek 2 was a great return to the world of Shrek. I grew up with the first and second movie so they always have a special place in my heart. The story is not as good as the first one, but the humor is insanely good in this one!
