An excellent kids movie with highly touching moments and performances that felt super real. The plot is a little bit silly, but the Mallory siblings sell the script and so does the guy playing young grandpa as well as the older grandparents. Love the Efron one, but this is better

MAN WAS THAT WHOLE SOAP THING BOGUS. CRAZY way to have the soap be brought into things. The first thing this woman says after her garage being DESTROYED is “Why don’t you go bring the soap box into the house”???? Could have easily been “oh hey I noticed there wasn’t soap in the bathroom. Tell me where it is so I can go take a shower” “Oh it’s in the garage” “oh okay I’ll go grab one” EASY. Taj having to bring the entire box????? What in the world was that???? I thought the rest of it was adorable (Terrance was very jarring i’ll say that) but hey when u got something good u gotta hold onto it! Also they should’ve played more into the “there’s two of them” aspect instead of Tamara pretending to be Tia but that’s just my thought. I went into this wanting a cheesy movie and that’s exactly what I got so who am I to complain?? 6/10 final score and that its very generous. YOUNG GENE IS FINNNNEEE AS HELL
