Super odd & goofy yet clever at the same time. Highly recommend for a fun movie night but I am confused w/ the ending in terms of Maddie though so someone who has seen it pls help😂

7.4 - solid directorial debut for Jake Johnson. Pretty much what you’d expect based off his body of work. Could have been a multi episode Nick Miller arc. Lots of charming performances. Missing a level of risk & the ending falls a bit flat, but it’s very worth a stream!

Leave it to Jake Johnson to bring back the knee-slapper comedy. Unexpected and unpredictable with a mildly lackluster ending. Still enjoyed the ride especially because it felt like a modern Truman show of sorts.

For all the suspenseful music, you’d think there would be a big twist ending or at least more excitement. Instead the whole movie ends up kind of predictable and unsatisfying.
