Selena’s story is so special and so important for the world to know. Jennifer Lopez and the Quintanilla family put their hearts and souls into this production and it shows. Must watch!

Fun Fact: The real Chris Perez is playing the guitar in the scene where he’s riffing (the closeup of his hands), not actor Jon Seda. Jon couldn't play the guitar as well as Chris, so the director called Chris in one day under the guise of showing Jon how to riff on the guitar correctly, and shot the whole thing in one take, without him knowing.

Good. So glad they didn’t delve too deep into her killer nor death. It was just a nice homage to her.

Me encanta la historia de Selena y q hdrmp la Yolanda. Me gustó mas la serie porq te muestra casi todos los detalles, acá como q se salteaban cosas y te decían por arriba q pasó.

it was good! i have more appreciation for selena for being able to be a latina american and be in both scenes of music without being criticized. i do wish they touched more on her dynamic with the killer. i felt like it was saved till the end and it’s such a big part of the plot

A heartfelt story that made me tear up a bit at the end. You can definitely tell that Selena positively impacted both her fans and those around her.

This was actually very wholesome and very cute. I accidentally started it, but I really really ended up liking it. It was very wholesome and genuinely so adorable and the ending was heartbreaking

Selena
a heartfelt biography about selena. a wonderful and very saddening story of her life. the beginning was a bit iffy and the younger actors didn’t keep me engaged, but i’m glad i stuck through because it picked up in the middle and showed her story really well.
