The guy sitting next to me saying “Dexter?” To the part where the dad went in the garage surrounded by plastic was the highlight of this movie.

Nothing could’ve prepared me for how horrible this movie actually is. Melissa and Jenna’s absence is very noticeable, the kills are lazy, the plot is sloppy and boring, and the ghostface reveal is genuinely laughable. It’s so disappointing how this franchise has turned itself into the very thing it’s been mocking for almost 30 years.

kinda sad to see the dislikes on this movie. yeah the motives were ass but i really liked it.
kills were pretty nice and gorey.
also random ass killers too, i mean cmon the neighbor and some worker two hours away? definitely worse killers by far.
i think the movie overall was pretty good. i got spoiled on the killers but still alright.
shouldn’t have fired Melissa and Jenna🙄

An entertaining watch but definitely a weaker of the movies. And soooo tired of the AI narratives in movies.

Kevin Williamson shouldn’t be allowed near a film set, hell - even a pen and paper, ever again. Honestly, what a load of rubbish. I can’t believe that; A.) they made a film off of that script, and B.) saw that final cut and was like “yeah, cool - that’s a good’un”.

Just dull and dreary, some truly terrible dialogue, awful character decisions - I know that’s the point, but fuck me, this time I was rooting for these people to be killed. I liked the stuff between Sidney and her daughter, but there’s this unnecessary divide between them. In fact, the film spent so much time putting the three female leads in contention, rather than having them together against someone trying to kill them…

She’s not bad, but Neve Campbell had no right getting all big and mighty about not being paid enough. She’s completely serviceable at best, offering nothing new to a character she’s been milking for 30 years. Mason Gooding and Jasmine Savoy-Brown are completely sidelined, ditto for Courtney Cox - whom I always enjoy in these films, yet ALWAYS gets nothing good to do.

Maybe if you’re not gonna continue doing something interesting with these films, perhaps just stop. Nothing important happens, no lasting consequences, no one outside of those introduced in this film died - don’t even get me started on the killer reveals. Who cares? Truly weak filmmaking.

The result is an experience that boasts some of the series’ blandest choices, as well as its most riotously gory and intense—a slasher that holds its franchise at knifepoint, for better and for worse.

I saw this movie at the cinema with my friends — it was amazing! I really hope Scream 8 comes out as soon as possible. I love the Scream movies, this one was beautiful!

I needed to kill time before my train. I didn't finish it, the writing is bad like bad bad. I guess if you like dumb movies it's ok maybe but not movie ticket worthy

let’s not continue feeding them the money to continue making shittier movies. just let it die now.

Im Kino geguckt, war echt nicht gut. Liegt vllt daran, dass ich die Teile davor nicht kenne (waren Anspielungen auf Filme davor). Einige Horrorfilmanspielungen cool. Ingesamt aber echt kacke, weil gar keine richtige Story und randome unpassende Witze + komische Sprache.
