Could the Velma show be worst than this ?

I wanted a nostalgic mystery, but this felt more like a chaotic superhero movie.

The Director’s Eye:
The 3D update to the classic designs pops beautifully. Through my traditional lens, I loved the wholesome focus on Shaggy and Scooby's friendship. It champions loyalty and self-sacrifice in a cynical world. Having Frank Welker back as Scooby adds a great sense of legacy, and the upbeat score keeps the energy high.

The Cuts:
The script tries way too hard to be trendy. Stuffing dialogue with internet memes felt super dated and really dragged the movie down for me. Abandoning the classic “spooky mansion” vibe for a global sci-fi spectacle just didn't feel like Scooby-Doo. It’s also a huge bummer they sidelined the veteran voice cast for A-list celebrities; hearing A-listers instead of the iconic voices took me right out of it.

Verdict:
A visually cute but messy reboot. Great message, but the stunt-casting makes it forgettable.

Favorite Line: “You have to choose between me and the Falcon Force.”

I thought this movie was personally light hearted and a bit funny at times. Animation looks great as well. Not really memorable though.

Villain trying to mess with Fred was a nice touch since he drives the van always.
