I would’ve loved to go to that school & have a teacher like Dewey lol.

9.7 - Needed a comfort movie today & this is near the top of my list. Endlessly quotable. Repeatedly laugh out loud funny. Curiously inspiring. Jack Black is incredible. I wanted to be these kids more than anything when I was their age. Just an all time comedy for me.

An all time personal favorite. Oh Jack Black, rock my world once again. On my most recent watch, realized the uptight teacher is not played by Tina Fey. I guess brown haired women who wear glasses are all around us, and it’s time we started paying attention. Hoorah!

Post-movie interview where Jack explains the issues during production for trying to use the Immigrant Song from Led Zeppelin:

One of the movies that defines my childhood as I watched it a gazillion times in my life so far and will always make me crack tf up no matter what plus it holds dear to my heart since it was filmed in a familiar setting where I live… the cast, the writing, the acting 🎸📚🚌

It’s a good theater kid/band kid movie. More of a one and done for me but it’s still pretty good. It’s the type of movie you put on as background noise tho.

I forgot how clever and funny this movie is. An absolute masterpiece. 10/10 - not a dull moment or scene.
