Could be a meh but it was consistently entertaining and the ending was great. The characters all felt ridiculous, but if you can get over that it’s a pretty solid story.
Al Pacino was especially great
That Frenchie girl though, creepy as hell.
Prison stuff was pointless too

Amazing performances, both heartwarming and heartbreaking, and stunning cinematography make Scarecrow one of the best movies of the 70s. 8.5/10
