One of, if not the greatest war movies of all time. Very accurate

Having rewatched Saving Private Ryan outside of class many years later, with mature eyes, made me love this film and, most of all, understand it better. It is such a heartbreaking yet rewarding story, with such wonderful acting—a definite must-watch.

Classic. Although a fictional story, it gives us a jaw dropping view of what the battle of Normandy may have been like. Starr-studded cast, great acting, powerful, and very moving.

The scene of the guy that blows himself up with a homemade sticky bomb has scarred me for life 😬😅

One of the best War Movies of all time ; but didn't Loved it So much to give a full 4

long ass movie

- It was cool n all, but it just wasn’t for me
- All these soldiers went through hell or died just because Ryan’s brothers died in combat earlier on, as if there aren’t thousands of other soldiers dying left n right. (Not to mention, they don’t even know Ryan 💀)

Honestly this is one of my least favorite movie genres by far, but I still thought this movie was amazing. There are so many iconic scenes in this and it is a very intense and moving film. The opening scene and third act are both spectacular, very well written and directed.

Seen this so many times.
One of the most accurate depictions of D-Day ever. The first twenty minutes of this is history, then the rest is one of the greatest war stories ever. Thank you to all the men that put their life on the line for America

10/10 My favorite movie of all time. I’ve always been into war movies and this one delivers everything you can hope for in a movie. Incredible action and characters. Spielberg directing is fantastic. The suspense, effects, and acting are all superb. I revisit this one every year
