Saturday Night Fever
Saturday Night Fever is wonderfully honest and completely accurate when it comes to depicting that stagnant environment that keeps young people like Tony pinned down.

Misogyny, racism, and a surprise gang rape scene at the end that is extraordinary disturbing… especially when you factor in the fact that the movie implies it’s HER fault. Yuck.

Amazing soundtrack and the dance scenes were awesome, but other than that I really didn’t enjoy this movie. All the characters start to get less enjoyable as the film goes on and you’re really left rooting for no one at the end of the film. I do not see myself watching this again

Such a man fucking film
Hardly even about dancing
The rape scene was so uncalled for
Fucking man film
It basically had no plot
The clothes, the accent, the cars, all good other than that, fuck off

You’ve got disco, you’ve got a killer soundtrack by Bee Gees, you’ve got drama, you’ve got John Travolta in platform boots, what more could you want in film?
