Saturday Night Fever is wonderfully honest and completely accurate when it comes to depicting that stagnant environment that keeps young people like Tony pinned down.

Misogyny, racism, and a surprise gang rape scene at the end that is extraordinary disturbing… especially when you factor in the fact that the movie implies it’s HER fault. Yuck.

A Bee Gees explosion. Didn’t feel as cathartic as I had hoped. Those voice overs… woof. Lots of parts didn’t age well, however the style was very on brand and some pretty unique shots

It made me cry cause my grandpa really liked Bee Gees and we listened to them all the time but other than that is not that good
