Saturday Night Fever

Saturday Night Fever is wonderfully honest and completely accurate when it comes to depicting that stagnant environment that keeps young people like Tony pinned down.

Misogyny, racism, and a surprise gang rape scene at the end that is extraordinary disturbing… especially when you factor in the fact that the movie implies it’s HER fault. Yuck.

bee gees as most of the soundtracks made me keep watching the movie, but i excepted a different genre, not concerning themes like raping or misogyny, evident from many disturbing scenes

No one had prepared me for seeing men treat women so badly, rape or anything like that. I thought it was just about dancing ;-;

Just buy the soundtrack. This movie is crap.
